Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has reached an agreement to extend his stay at Al Nassr, reinforcing his commitment to the Saudi Pro League beyond his initial contract.
Ronaldo, who joined the club in January 2023 on a two-and-a-half-year deal, was originally set to remain with the team until the end of the 2024/25 season. However, a club official confirmed that both parties have now agreed on a renewable extension.
“The agreement for an extension has been reached, though the formal signing is yet to take place,” the official disclosed. “An official announcement will be made in the coming days.”
The decision to prolong his tenure at Al Nassr follows Ronaldo’s milestone 40th birthday, which he celebrated in style by scoring in a 3-0 victory against Al Feiha. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star continues to be a key figure in the club’s aspirations both domestically and internationally.
