Prospective participants are required to record a 30-second video of themselves singing a song of their choice and submit it through the Africa Magic platform.
Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels West Africa at MultiChoice, expressed the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and inspiring creativity. “Nigerian Idol is not just about discovering exceptional voices; it’s about empowering individuals to share their stories and inspire others. Over the past decade, this show has not only launched careers but also entertained millions across Africa. The theme ‘Your Voice, Your Victory’ embodies the transformative power of music to change lives and foster growth,” she stated.
Following the success of the last season, which crowned Chima Udoye as the winner, Nigerian Idol promises to deliver another captivating experience. With its legacy of uncovering and celebrating Nigeria’s rich musical talent, this season is set to continue the show’s tradition of inspiring audiences and shaping the next generation of music icons.
