
Renowned human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has urged Nigerians to take an active role in demanding accountability from their leaders. Speaking at the 4th Anniversary Lecture in honor of the late Yinka Odumakin, organized by the Oluyinka Odumakin Foundation in Lagos, Falana criticized the dominance of “the rule of rulers” over the rule of law.

He specifically encouraged citizens to request copies of their local government budgets and monitor constituency allocations.
